Marilyn Manson’s upcoming performance on October 31 at Windsor Hall, part of the Bournemouth International Centre in the UK, may face hurdles due to concerns raised by local officials.
As reported by the BBC, Millie Earl, leader of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council, has voiced her opposition to the show in light of multiple allegations made against the artist over the years. Despite the venue being council-owned, Earl clarified that it is operated independently by BH Live, limiting the council’s control over its bookings.
"Due to our lease agreement, we do not have direct influence over the events that take place," Earl stated. "However, I’ve written to BH Live to express my concerns."
She further explained: "I don’t believe Marilyn Manson aligns with the values we uphold in BCP. We've been actively working on initiatives like the White Ribbon accreditation, which aims to address harmful behavior among men and boys. That’s why I’ve asked BH Live to reconsider hosting this event."
